Well-Known Style Expert Shares Her Knowledge
Web Site of the Week columnist Wayne Harrison This week's site is for women only.
Or for men who just wonder what women think about.
It's called FocusOnStyle.com and it's packed with useful tips and information that every woman needs, even if she doesn't know it.Sharon Haver
This Web site is the brainchild of Sharon Haver (pictured, right), whose name you might recognize from her many articles in various publications. Haver was featured in The New York Post, New Woman, NY Newsday, The New Yorker, Mode, and Star.
Haver has over 15 years experience in the glamour industry as a New York-based photography fashion stylist, writer, contributing editor, lecturer, and on-air television/radio fashion expert.
FocusOnStyle has more columns than you can shake a lipstick at. Haver shines in her twice-weekly column called "It's A Style Thing." The column is described as "itsy-bitsy bites of what's cool."
For people of the opposite sex, Haver has an advice column on men's makovers.
One 21-year-old man recently wrote to say that he had no self confidence and felt ugly. Haver summed up her style philosophy this way: " Feeling satisfied about how you look does give your self-confidence a boost, but it should not envelope your entire existence."
But what if you don't have a style?
ForcusOnStyle even has a column called, "Find Your Style." (It's what we called "mojo" back in the 70s)
There's also a place to ask Haver your own style questions.
In all, you'll find hours of fascinating, upbeat reading on FocusOnStyle.com.
